The sun provides the energy all living things need, to exist on the Earth. Why sunlight or Sunbath is so essential for you?
Let’s check.
Experts say that a few minutes in direct sunlight is good for you.
Sun gives light. Sun gives warmth. Sun gives colour to the sky. Seeing the sun rise on the hills, the view is breathtaking. The sun dipping in the sea has its own charm. The change in the colour of the sky at these different moments gets captured by our cameras.
Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.

What is Sunbathing?
Soaking ourselves in the sunlight or exposing our body to sunlight with minimum clothes on is sunbathing.
Spending 10 to 15 minutes every day in the sun is essential for your body to make enough vitamin D in the skin. The body absorbs the intake of calcium with the presence of proper vitamin D. Inadequate calcium can lead to bone diseases. So adequate sunlight is necessary for proper growth of bones.
Heat is soothing, keeps cold at bay
Sunbathing helps to relieve body pain, shakes off lethargy and is relaxing. It is effective in getting rid of skin conditions like acne, boils, psoriasis, healing of abrasions and cuts. Over a period of time, healthy skin will also build up resistance to side effects of ultraviolet light, sunburns and infections.
Improves digestion and metabolism
Sunlight is known to regulate a healthy appetite. It strengthens your immune system by increasing the number of white blood cells thus improving blood circulation and production of red blood cells in your blood, thus increases the amount of oxygen in the blood. At the same time, it lowers blood pressure.
Boosts your mood and energy
Getting out in the fresh air for a little sunbath helps you relieve stress. Sunbathing increases the brain's release of a hormone called serotonin, the mood enhancer. It can make people feel better and energetic. Sunlight exposure increases the production of melatonin in the body. Adequate sunshine during the day makes you sleep better at night.
Relax as you sunbathe
Get together sunbathing with relaxation. Lie down comfortably in the sun, in a park or a beach, near a lake or any other secluded and quiet place with minimum clothing on.
Breathe as you sunbathe
Be aware of your breathing. Take deep breaths in and out slowly, three times. As you exhale feel the tension draining away and the sun slowly warming the body. Thus you are gifting your body the beauty of the sunlit nature.
Exposure to sunlight before 8 am or after 4 pm is ideal for positive effects of the sunshine on your body and mind.
Here comes the sun and I say
